“People are tired of gas cars. They are tired of the gas wars. They want to live in harmony with the Earth. We hope the Solar Bug can help them do that,” says Steve Titus, the President of Free Drive and the inventor of the Solar Bug.
Don’t expect the Solar Bug to put Lexus and Infiniti out of business overnight. By law, the Solar Bug is only allowed to go 25 miles per hour, and its range is limited to 60 miles. But, for city dwellers or those people living in small towns, whose primary need is local transportation to and from work and local errands, it offers a trendy and environmentally friendly way to get around.

I agree with "quality"! Gas prices are definitely hitting the wallet pretty hard. I'm just going to walk to work more this summer. Maybe Steve will come out with a convertible model before long?

True, that would be nice. But the solar power is intriguing especially with current gas prices.

The car is definitely a step in the right direction! Keep up the good work, Steve.
