I lost the chain/derailleur after all the uphills. The shot of me pedaling madly was the last uphill, where I lost the cog to the weeds.

From the information I've gathered, the derailer fell off, including the small cog, around the beginning of the trip. So the shots of Craig on the trail are of him coasting down hill.

I'm kind of bummed that I didn't get go this time around but at least Craig grabbed some great footage.
